Grevelingen

Welcome to my page about Grevelingen Lake. As the largest saltwater lake in Europe,, it lies beautifully between Zeeland and South Holland, offering a true paradise for nature lovers and seekers of tranquility.

The Grevelingen is a place of contrasts. On one side, you’ll find vast sandbanks, colourful dunes, and endless views over the water. On the other, there are sheltered creeks, bird-rich islands, and places where the horizon melts into the sky. It’s a landscape where nature and people live in harmony.

As a photographer, I find endless inspiration here. Sometimes it’s the shimmering water at sunrise; other times it’s the lively play of wind and clouds changing the scene entirely. Each season gives Grevelingen its own unique personality.

On this page, you’ll find my blogs and photographs capturing the beauty and diversity of the Grevelingen — from peaceful moments to powerful nature. Discover the charm of this remarkable water landscape through my lens.
