Oosterschelde
Welcome to my page about the Oosterschelde. This vast and enchanting National Park is where water, nature, and light create a truly unique landscape. With mudflats, salt marshes, and tidal areas, it is home to countless bird species and seals.
The Oosterschelde is always in motion. Winds and tides constantly change the water’s color and texture. As a photographer, I’m drawn to this natural rhythm. Mornings often bring calm, soft light, while evenings set the waters aglow with golden hues.
Beyond its rich nature, there is maritime life. Fishing boats, sailing yachts, and large vessels pass through, adding movement and character to the scene.
On this page, you’ll find my blogs and photographs from the Oosterschelde. They capture quiet moments, rare encounters, and vast horizons.
Discover this special part of Zeeland through my eyes — a place of beauty, in every season.
