Berwickshire

This part of Scotland is spared by most tourists: Berwickshire. We visit Northumberland en masse for its castles along the coast or drive straight to the Scottish Highlands. Maybe understandable, but it is very unfortunate because Berwickshire has a lot to offer. Just like Northumberland, this part of southern Scotland consists of a beautiful coastline with various castles, in short: an absolute must to ever visit.
